Real life is my safespace

Anyone else feel this way? When people in your games flame me and tell me to kill myself, I just think, "Man, I'm so glad it's only on online videogames do I ever have to experience anything close to this". I've had people tell me that I must live in a basement and be super sheltered for how sensitive I am, but I really can't remember the last time someone was even slightly rude to me IRL. Maybe early high school? It's been a while.
