Please Bring Teambuilder Back (No Salt I Promise)

I'm going to start by saying that I main support. I can usually get my role in almost any game mode because it isn't exactly the most popular role, but I've still made an effort to learn all roles to a somewhat decent degree, enough to at least know what I'm doing and be more sympathetic to other people in those roles when they're having trouble (especially with 1st time junglers)

Now, that being said, I still play almost exclusive Team Builder when i want a casual game. This isn't about wanting my role, but rather a specific champion. Sometimes I just really want to play one of my mains like or , and sometimes I just want to practice landing my hooks as or .

Now I could still get my role in this new champ select (which I think is a great champ select mode for Draft and Ranked) but people wont always like the champ I want to play (eg: "I hate having a support Bard, learn to play Leona or Thresh noob") (BTW I do know how to play both, I just prefer others). While this is no problem in ranked or draft, where I go in expecting compromise, sometimes i just want to be able to pick my champ in advance, have others know my champ in advance and be able to trade me around until I find a group that wants the wombo my specific champ brings to the combo. This is Where TB always fits in.

So while the new champ select does not compromise my role, and I do like the new champ select, I don't feel it should be a substitute for TB, but rather just a different option, just as I would never expect ARAM to replace Blind Pick.

I understand the slow Q times for making a match, but everyone who chooses to go into TB knows that risk in advance and has agreed to it by picking this mode of matchmaking. Faster Q speeds are lovely for the other matchmaking options, but the ability to choose a longer Q time in exchange for getting the champion you want should be an option for all players.

Like I said in the title though I have no salt over this, I'm just looking to provide some input in regards to the TB community's feelings about this without the salt or all caps yelling :P
