Questions Regarding Wave of PBE Approvals

With the recent wave of PBE approvals, I just had a quick few questions about how it works. Was this wave of approvals the only one or will there be more than one in the next few weeks? Did Riot perhaps state when they would be accepting more, and if not, how frequently do they usually let more into the PBE? I am not gonna lie, I am only a little bit salty, as nearly all of my friends received PBE accounts during the Tuesday wave last week. I just want to know if I am out of luck when it comes to a huge wave of approvals coming again sometime soon. And if it does, I don't mean for this to sound greedy, I know people have also waited a very long time for a chance at an account, I just would really like to know.

I had to wait 8 months to get my PBE approved. They still gather people from time to time but you most likely will have to wait another half year if you weren't picked on this patch. As who are picked, people with longer champions pools usually have higher chances, if you only play 2 or 3 champions over and over again you end up at the end of the line.
