AP Sated Devourer Jax (post-test)

finally got a proper test from a real game in and it totally works. naturally, it's best played against an ap heavy team (because of the ult bonus stats), but you can make it work against ad heavy teams as I did in my last game. my build item 3111 or item 3047 item 3930 item 3115 item 3124 item 3100 and for the last item you can take basically whatever, but I usually like to go item 3152 or item 3102. the sated passive procs not only on his w and ult damage, but also on the stacking mechanism on his ult, letting him get an empowered aa every other hit. normally, ap jax wouldn't have the sustained damage to build anything but assassin, but with sated devourer he can both assassinate and fight people. so far, even when behind, I have consistently been able to 1v3 and get at least 2 kills once I have sated. there are only 3 weaknesses to this build that I've come across so far:

  1. you're pretty squishy, minus the ult. usually that isn't a big problem, but if they have a nidalee or veigar who really wants you dead and can stay away from you, then it gets pretty annoying.

  2. if your lanes do really badly, you tend to have a hard time getting stacks because you wind up spending all your time defending turrets. you aren't useless by any means if that happens, but you certainly aren't as effective as you are with sated.

  3. pretty reliant on his e, the stun in particular. while it isn't usually too difficult to get on top of someone, it can be hard to stay on top of them. furor and rylais help a lot with that, but his e is the real ticket. if it's on cd and a teamfight breaks out or you get pounced on, you could very well be screwed.

try it out, please. I want to know how it goes for other people. I want to know if the build is a generally working build or if it just works against low mmr normals scrubs. remember, the build is certainly not freelo and if you suck with jax's e then you will probably suck with this build.
