Really tired of Losing [Recruitment?]

Hi,

I'm not a bad player, most of my games.. my scores are good. Unfortunately, that's still not enough to push myself up the ranking ladder because I end up losing. Are there any teams out there, that play seriously, but are also fun. I'm seriously tired of solo queu'ing. . .I even made another account, because I found myself attracted to 3's more than 5's after just being trolled so much.

you just need to play more normals before diving into ranked. it's not supposed to be easy. and this is a team game. you may have a good KDA and still not be a great player.

change your play style. try to snowball others instead of focusing on your own early game play. learn all the roles etc

Previous post makes a great point with learning roles. It all comes down to how often you play.

The more you play the closer your rank will be to what your skill level is because of the champions you learn as well as the fact that high number of games means less "oddities". Unfortunately if you take time off though you will decay and then wind up low and have to work your way up again which sucks. I've felt similar to you for awhile but just accept now that I don't play often enough so will probably be Silver forever. =(

In short, you pretty much have to play League all the time to get to those higher tiers. I play for fun, so I will accept my Silver ranking. =)

Honestly, I'm good. I just find myself being paired up with people who quicklock and persons who go AFK. I'm thinking if a person is deemed a "Leaver" by the game, the players who were playing that game with the Leaver should have a reduction in their penalty, don't you think? I don't see how another person never even making one step in the match loses only 10LP, while the ones who fought hard... still trying to win lose 23 [That's how much I lost]. I just recently moved up a tier, however on the bright side, but I'm still not satisfied with my matchmaking.
