I thought the is community would be better

I have been playing since gatekeeper Gallo came out (Basically a long time ago) in my years of playing this game I've loved it at times, hated it at others, even gotten a 2 week ban!

Back in the day however, the game was fun, trying to hit level thirty I encountered almost no toxicity in games; I was playing with level thirty friends whilst I was level 10 or so; I was terrible at the game and would often do poorly but others helped me out and I learned the mechanics. The games was interesting, fun to play and the community was super awesome and fair.

I went through my "toxic" phase once I hit level thirty (I was about 15 at the time) and I would wish people death, cancer, call them nggers, fa*ots ect. This behavior I didn't really realize was unacceptable in league until I got a 2week ban. I thought that it wasn't fair, I didn't know how toxic I actually was. So I sent emails and ranted on the forums. And I got answers. I got my chat logs of a game I played as sion and I Saw I was constant calling my team trash and cancer ands bunch of rude and vulgar things, on the forums a RED had replied regarding my case, and said he had high hopes for me and knew I loved the game and wanted to reform and told me the 2week ban was my version of a second chance, that if I reformed? I'd be fine, if not then it'd be a perm ban. That was over 2 ish years ago and I'm still here! Yay!

However that's when the community started changing, we got new punishment systems and the tribunal went down and reds stopped replying as much. This is where I feel the community and riot failed.

I had my second chance and took it, but I look around and see toxicity everywhere and nobody getting banned? Or even punished. I'm seeing more afks, more Rage, and less punishment. Part of this is the automated punishments, people are report happy, players get reported falsely in at least 5-10% of their games. This means there are rare cases where players get unfairly punished because a real person is not looking at the case anymore, wether it be a tribunal or rioter

The community is failing and riots answer although a great idea to help curve some toxicity, is only making the issue worse.

As for the community? When I started league the community was one of the best, everyone wanted to be a part of it. Now? It's the slums of the Internet pretty much. I could easily call the league community as bad as 4chan minus the gore and loads of porn.

I'm disappointed in the community, and I truly thought we all would be better individuals, as human beings. Rather than ruin this game and trash talk each other
