Summoner's Rift Seasons?

I've been a player since season 2 and was just thinking about the old winter Summoner's Rift. I think it would be awesome if Summoner's Rift changed with the seasons. I remember seeing something about a Snow Rift and Beach Rift, but I'm not current with the status of those maps. I just think it would be a cool idea if it changed every now and then :).
