How To Help Riot By Trolling Legitimate Player Complaints

"The nail that sticks out, gets beaten down" -japanese proverb

As we all know, Riot is the most player focused gaming company in the world, however, regular players think that this means them, when it really means professional player focused. Riot cannot be bothered with catering to the unwashed plebes. So to help out with this I've made a list of ways to get rid of problem player posts.

#ONE. Standard Scrub Troll Response

One or two word meme reply, such as "carry harder scrub" are always hysterical.

#TWO. End Game Analysis

Post a Psuedo-Scientific sounding analysis of their end game statistics. You can do things like, questions their builds, kda, criticize their cs rate, etc... Make sure to ignore to anything related to the actual player behavior during the game.

#THREE. Psychology Major

Point to an article in some psychology journal, for instance the "psychology of losing streaks." posts are a classic.

#FOUR. Mister Skeptical

You want to know the reason, you cannot report scripters/cheaters? Because you can't prove shit. Riot would be deluged with unprovable unactionable reports. Ask the person to explain how a particular hack or exploit works. The inability to explain will serve to discredit the poster, even if a simple google search will reveal the answer.

Did I miss any?

Re: 1 - Post such as you describe here are never useful. They're low-effort, and not worth acknowledging.

Re: 2 - Analysis of your own overall play isn't useful? Seems to me that determining your own strengths and weaknesses can only help you improve as a player. Improving as a player will, over a long enough timeline, ensure that you win more often than you had before you improved. Winning more often will, over a long enough timeline, ensure that you gain rank. So how is it not useful?

Re: 3 - I don't understand how indicating that you may be experiencing a negativity or confirmation bias (the two most commonly invoked - and most commonly appropriate - psychological phenomena regarding in-game experiences) can be considered "trolling."

Re: 4 - Riot encourages players to report scripters and cheaters, because they do have plenty of tools at their disposal to address those concerns. Posting on the boards about it, however, is only moderately useful. And the burden of proof is always on the person making a claim - if you expect people to believe you, it's important that you be able to support your claims.

trolls are worse every season in ranked. I played 4 games and literally had back too back trolls before i even get a solid team. you cant play ranked without getting a chink or spic who wants too troll you.
