Refunds For Season 4

First of all, I'm soooo exited for season 4, even if I am Bronze... I suck please don't yell at me XD Now I was a noob with my refunds and refunded 4800 or 3150 or 6300 IP, and I was like level 10 so I had no idea what was happening. Now 3 refunds wasn't really a lot, I get you want people to use them wisely but what about idiots like me, and use them stupidly. I think we should at least get 5 or so.

I mean I got the 1350 Draven skin, I'm badass with him, next day they patch his passive and I suck. I buy a bunch of skins or champions with RP next day they go on sale.

Now I understand, like I said, you want us to use them wisely, but heres the thing, people like me don't, at level 10 we waste em on stupid things, now I'm level 30, I'd refund all the things I wasted RP on, Draven skin, my Thresh skin, next week they come out with Championship Thresh, my Zac skin, don't get me wrong, cool skin, I'm good with Zac, but I like the normal one better.

And god for bid change my name

Just so you know, if you buy something and it goes on sale soon after (within a week), you can submit a support ticket (in the support on the top right) and they will refund you the difference by hand.

I agree with original poster. I don't see harm in having some sort of long term reset of refunds. Even just adding 1 more per year would be a big step.

I think it's true that it's hard to have good long term judgement on using refunds when you are an up-and-coming player who's just excited to get new content and champions. Say you FINALLY get the IP needed to buy a 6300 champ and then realize you suck with him. For a low end player with not many champs to begin with it's really hard to resist the urge to refund it and get a new one.

Somehow allowing a little more leeway here would be nice.

You are not alone.. I wasted two of my three refunds. I bought Kha'zix with IP when he came out; when Nami came out I refunded kha'zix so that I could unlock her immediately. Unfortunately she was underpowered at release and I refunded her too. My friend bought me kha'zix so I got him back but I still don't have Nami :(

Wow! Thanks for all the support guys, means a lot. Still no Reds but we'll change that. Another thing is I don't really see the point of limited refunds, I get you guys want us to be responsible with them, but what's the harm?

What I mean to say is, don't have unlimited refunds, I get that but maybe like 5-10 refunds, possibly like three for bronze, 5 for silver, 7 for gold, 10 for plat+ and then like 15 for challengers. Or less, just maybe some more refunds would be great.

Also, normal LoLers please BUMP or just upvote, comment etc, if we could get a serious discussion about this, with Reds in, that would be awesome.

Please discus.

I agree. Name changes should also have a buy with ip option as well though.

This is a hard to balance issue though. People are supposed to use refunds wisely and not waste them right away. I think the point of refunds is kind of the "Oh sh*t I got that champion but really don't want it!" rather than "i used the Draven one a lot but then he got patched and its not worth". I feel like in the second case you have used the skin and gotten its worth out of it and should not be able to refund. at this point you are SOL.

Draven Passive is way better now. All u need for insane dmg is a BT and u rape face as long as you keep your axes spinning. The new Passive allows you to catch up in game or to snow-ball hard.
