Uninstalling Beta Client

So my league wasn't working. I would try running it but it just went to a blank screen where I couldn't do anything except close it from task manager. I tried re-opening it a few times, but it never worked, so I uninstalled both the League client and Legacy client. I installed it again and ran it. It went to the old home screen with free champ rotation and Play button. I hit the play button and it would go to a smaller screen that said updating 0MB/0MB. I tried doing that like 5 times and each time waiting for 20 minutes-a few hours, but nothing ever happened, so I uninstalled the League client again. I installed it for the third time and it went to the old home screen, I pressed play and it said I needed the new client. I went to an FAQ about it and it said specifically to not uninstall it in bold and an exclamation point. Will I not be able to play league for a while or is there a way to fix this? If I won't be able to fix it, how long until I will be able to play?
