I don't even care about the ELO, I just want to play a 5v5 ranked game like League is intended to, if you just let us lose there's no way to abuse it. I just don't want to play a demoralizing 4v5.
It's not very difficult, why does the best MOBA have the worst AFK system?
What do you mean auto-loss?
why not just allow resign at 5 minutes if there is an afk? Or, the game can just end, no win or loss at that point?
I am in the same boat and then everyone in ranked is try hard and won't surrender and then the other team just plays with you even longer so fucking annoying
4v5 in ranked is moderately common at low elo. It makes crappy games even worse. In the ladder system, it's pretty awful since you have to win two games to move up even though it wasn't your fault for the first loss.

To be fair, if that game lasted 40 minutes and it was 4v5, It doesn't seem like the lose wasn't 
teed, your team put up a hell of s fight.
