Done with ranked for Season 5

Just like the title says, I'm done with ranked. I was placed in Silver 4 after going 5-5 in my placements matches. Since that, I've gone 6-15, winning my last ranked game almost 2 months ago. I can't stand it anymore. I know it's not about winning, but having fun, but it gets tiring when I see defeat keep popping up on my screen at the end of every match. I've tried to play every role, all with the same outcome, defeat. I don't know what to do anymore. I try my hardest, I know I make mistakes, I go back and watch the entire match again, look at my mistakes and fix them in the next match, but it's still GG.

When it comes to getting my team, I'm usually paired up with people worse than me, and matched up against people who are pretty much gods amongst men in Silver division. I try to carry and coordinate my team and it can work, but it always ends up with us either getting our faces rolled or throwing the game.

Sorry for the ranting post, I just needed to vent some frustration built up inside me. In fact, as I am writing this I feel a slight smile coming across my face. Thanks for listening to my b****ing summoners. Any advice is appreciated.

I can understand ur frustration. Losing spree is not pleasant for anyone, but if you have learn from your mistakes, I would say that at the end of the day you gained more than u lost. For example, if you had to give up 50lp just to learn to ward your lane consistently, you have became a better player as the result and that is the most important aspect of climbing. Many people think that climbing is simply getting a higher rank, but I believe that climbing the ladder is you evolving as a player. I guess I could be consider as having a pretty decent rank and the best advice I can give to anyone is that you should play to get better, not play to get ranks. If you are a far better player than the rank you are currently in, it is extremely easy to crush lane and win games. I was reminded of this when I played on my fresh lvl 30 smurf and when 10-0 in my placements. It was not because of luck, it was because I see my enemies making a lot of mistakes and giving me many free advantages. Maybe you are currently in a rank where you are better than everyone else, but not enough to carry every game. If that is the case, then you probably belong in one or two division above your current rank. Play to improve, try to analyze why you have won and what made you lost, focus on your plays and look at your defeats as lessons. You will climb much more easily with that mind set.

Holy Poop! Looking at your match history, good riddance! Where did you get your account? Ebay?

How is this guy in silver and I'm stuck in B5?!

Because the elo/mmr system is completely broken, that's why.
