The Maokai curse?

I like playing Maokai support or top and generally play ok, though I do not claim to be good at him. The last 8 games I played (3 week timeframe) with Maokai were all losses. I am OK with this, just think that AFKs in 6 of the 8 games are rather absurd.

I am not experiencing this bad luck with any other champion, only Maokai..
