Hey everyone!

I'm Ansim, I've recently started streaming and I'd love some tips on how to improve the quality of my stream. My goal is to stream daily, and hopefully make a few friends in the process. Any help would be appreciated!

  1. Be consistent in your schedule. Stream at least 3 days a weeks over 3 hours each time to get a solid stream schedule down so people know when to expect you to be on so they can watch.

  2. Keep engaged with your chat. Talk to your chat while you play and welcome your followers and subs (when you get the sub option which is only attainable when you reach a certain number of viewers each stream consistently which is when you actually partner with twitch and that is a whole different thing) so they can feel welcome.

  3. When you get comfortable with streaming, dont be afraid to play with your followers or subs because that builds a relationship between you guys.

  4. Set up a thing for your followers to keep them engaged in chat like a non-material currency system. For example if you have a theme of dragons then the system will be something like "bet [x] number of dragon scales if you think so and so will succeed or fail" and use that made up currency as incentive to keep your followers and subs in chat and you can use that same system for raffles in terms of using dragon scales to buy a raffle ticket for a song request or something like that. But overall just have a way to keep your chat involved and wanting to come back to your channel.

  5. Just have fun. Its no fun watching a streamer that constantly rages or yells at other people or even their own chat. When you stream you MUST be laid back and not get mad at every little thing that may go wrong.

  6. Dont be discouraged if you dont see a big number of people following or watching your stream to start. Its hard for new streamers unless a moderately known or well know streamer hosts you so you can get your name out there. You just have to keep doing it and eventually you will get to the point where you have a good number of people following.

What he said. I haven't done it much but when you do stream it's good to have a custom layout, a good mic/camera, and set it up to monitor your chat on another screen (I was using my cell phone or my TV to monitor the chat). That way you can stay in contact with those watching.
