Fps drops over the course of the game?

Ok so I have my fps capped at 120. It is at solid 120 for about the first 10 mins of the game then just slowly starts dropping until it reaches about 60-70 by the 45 minute mark. It gets pretty annoying because I notice that its not very smooth in the late game team fights anymore. Then when I go to start another game it starts at 120 again and goes down. Anyone else lose a bit of fps throughout the game? Is there any fix to this? Im on a desktop and my temperatures stay the same the whole game through so it's not like the temps are going up and up throughout the whole game. All the fans on the GPU are working properly. Any suggestions on how to fix?

you have more fps at the start of the game than at the end because more things happen on the screen as the game progresses in early game everything is so chill and nothing is happening mid-late game has more action so more happen onscreen at the start of the game i have 220-260 fps on very high then like at 20 mins i have 170 then at 25-30 mins 140 fps and in teamfights 90-110 fps either you have an old computer or its something normal

As Halp said, the longer the match, the more items and various things start happening and spawning etc, so more load, since you are a amd user, i would suggest running a gpu temp test under load just incase, heat is a computer's worse enemy, and amd cards tend to run hot, make sure you have plenty of air circulation in your rig, even if you have fans working properly, it could be a case of not enough circulation, the whole push and pull factor.

IF that is not the case, convert to the green team, amd gives nothing but issues so often, i tried amd once, and never went back. Nvidia ftw! even if it is over priced xD

Also, get another 8gb stick of ram, 16 gb is not required for most games, but if you are having issues late game the more things pop up, you may want that little bit of extra power.

If anything, send a support ticket into riot, and they will ask for your systems specs and they will give some more in depth advice, hopefully this helps! Good luck.
