Why is Bronze this way?

I've been playing for about a year, about when Vi came out. I wasn't very good and I didn't enjoy playing. I had a bad match with Nautilus, who was my very REASON for playing this game, because of his awesome Splash art, and so I stopped playing for a while. Well, I got back into the game when I thought "Maybe, I can become very good at this game, and learn from the best", and so Lo and behold, a year later, I'm a decent player. However, when I do play ranked, which I don't anymore because of this reason, I win every single game leading to my Promotional Series, and then, finally, when I get to my Promos, I lose. "Why?" you might ask, and I will tell you "Trolls, Feeders, AFKers". Every single Promo has had this until FINALLY, 15 lost promos later, I finally get to the next tier. Why is Bronze this way? I help every Lane after I win mine, which is usually Mid lane. One promo, I was playing Brand, I had 24 kills, 24 KILLS, and 4 deaths. We lost that game. Because after I had helped Shen win his lane, he ragequit because he didn't pay attention when he got ganked by the enemy team. Now, I know what you are going to say, "It was 4v5 and you were incredibly fed, and you lost, you must be bad." Well, when I get focused by literally the entire enemy team and we have no tank (Shaco Jungle), I cannot withstand a 1v5 storm for me, I usually just tried to get Pyroclasm off and then hit Q to stun, then died. 3 aces this way later, My team just finally decided to give up. Why must I get these ragequitters, Trolls, and AFKers every Promo series? I'm really tired of it and it angers me because I try so hard to get out of bronze, to no avail.

Man, unless you're on a 5v5 premade team I'd say expect all them ragequitters, trolls and afkers.

Best thing to do is be your own tank. If you don't like having the tank fall out. I've had good experiences as my own tank depending on how fed i get i can kill 3 people at a time solo. so even in a 4v5 you don't have to worry too much.

What about the fact that once you get out of Bronze V you still play with Bronze V people.

It should be like this:

Bronze V vs Bronze V

Bronze IV vs Bronze IV

Bronze III vs Bronze III

Bronze II vs Bronze II

Or there will be no way out of Bronze..

It really sucks because people that troll, feed, rq don't get banned fast enough because riot has a very bad algorithm for predicting player skill. This combined with tiers further prevents decent players from getting to any level where they could potentially get EVEN better.

Only way out that I have seen is to actually duo and not solo q at all.

Okay, I realize that you believe that you're a good player, and for all I know you very well might be.

This is the issue with solo queue though, you're going to run into those people that you believe will lose you the game. It's all about how you LOOK at the game and how you PERCEIVE the game.

Here's what I do. If I am 8/0 in lane, and my top lane is 0/5 and we lose because the enemy top laner snowballs better than I do. I never EVER say "oh man it's because of him feeding that we lost, he was just too heavy, wish these noobs would stop being placed in my games."

Instead, I think of "what could I have done better to further carry the game?"

I think it's about time we defined carrying. Carrying is not all about doing well personally. Carrying means that you not only have to do well, but you have to promote the ability to catch up for your teammates as well.

Let's say for example that you're playing adc, and you're stomping your lane. You finally take your turret, and you decide to go mid to help him take his. Unfortunately for your mid laner, he's kind of behind, and his cs and kills just don't stack up with his enemy.

IF YOU CARRY HIM THE WISE DECISION WOULD BE: let him get the farm as you push to the turret, if you can get a kill, only take the kill if the enemy is about to get away, otherwise let your mid laner get the kill.

Little things like this really affect how well you do in game.

Mid lane, in my opinion, is actually much harder than any other role in this game. Not only do you have to have your mechanics mastered, but you also have to realize when to go to different lanes and gank those lanes to try to get a kill. Or you have to realize what you can do against other players that is 1) not a bad decision that will get you killed and 2)something that will further the team's effort, not just your own.

Finally, in Bronze; contrary to popular opinion bronze players aren't all that bad at the champs that they play. But their idea of teamwork is literally non-existent. I'm not a professional player by any means, but in my climb to gold, I noticed less and less toxicity, and more and more effort from the team to win the game, whether they were losing or winning. You have to not only have that attitude, but you also have to be a shot-caller. You have to not only know how to get kills, but how to get objectives like turrets, dragons, baron etc. Then, you need to learn how to be an effective leader. That means not raging, and staying positive no matter what the situation.

If you do this, I guarantee that you will see a marked improvement in your games. I'm not saying that it'll be immediate, when I was learning to be a shotcaller, I made some mistakes that literally lost our winning team the entire game. It's all about trial and error. but the more you learn this skill, the better and better you'll do, and the more consistently you'll win.

tldr: Learn to be a shotcaller, don't rage, and realize that carrying a game does not mean that only you do so well that you win the game for your team, but you promote the team doing well and you buy them enough time to catch up to win the game.
