Ribbons and the new matchmaking system

As most of you know obtaining a ribbon in any of the four categories( Honor, Teamwork, Friendly and Helpful ) is difficult and the only reward thus far is showcasing it during champion select and the pregame loading screen. However with the new matchmaking (which i like) has halved the "reward" of having a ribbon. Why not make a skin for those who are making the game more enjoyable for others or at least allow more opportunities for those who have the ribbon to in some way benefit aesthetically.

TL;DR: Riot have you forgotten about the Honor initiative?
