Leaver Buster Unfair

I have been a player since 2012. I fell in love with this game. One thing has made me to start growing a hatred. The leaver buster system. It has no way of Identifying if the summoner has lagged out or actually left. Its unfair to the players who lag out. This really needs to be fixed because 1/3 of an hour is quiet a long time to be in queue for. Please riot fix this. Its not the summoners fault our internet lags out. I understand if you want to play league make sure you have at least an hours amount of time to play but it is not fair to the people who lag out and cannot reconnect/

This seems like it's working as intended. Leaverbuster is designed to catch those who leave intentionally as well as those who have consistent internet/computer problems. Note that I said consistent. Riot designed Leaverbuster with some leniency because they know that sometimes things happen that are out of our control, which is why you won't get punished for the occasional leave.

However, if you are having internet problems often enough to get punished by Leaverbuster, then that's your own fault. If you are having consistent internet problems, then it's up to you to get them fixed before you queue up for another game. You may not have control over when your internet lags out, however you do have control of when you queue up. If you are queuing up for games knowing full well that your internet could lag out, then that's on you.

How is it Riot's fault when you disconnect from time to time. I can ensure you I NEVER got disconnected from the game, mind you I do have a great internet service provider (ISP). You might wanna check out your end before putting it all on Riot's servers or Ping!

Before Riot move to Chicago my ping was @ 67% (my favourite #) now it's @ 25 & not much has change in terms of game-play for me.

You are correct that the LeaveBuster System is unfair. However, you say it is too strict. It isn't. It is too lenient. Before you even get a warning, you need to leave 5-10 games in a very short amount of times. That is bullshit, and it means someone can ruin games for literally close to 100 people before they start getting punished. It should be much more immediate. If the LeaveBuster is picking ~~you~~ someone up just from lag as you say, that means they're lagging out of a ton of games and fucking over their teams. ~~You~~...I mean they...should probably look into Solitaire or Minesweeper.

This is working as intended. It is your responsibility to provide a working internet connection. What is unfair is that your failure to do so is ruining games for other people.

You need to fix whatever is causing you to disconnect so much before queuing again, not just hoping that you don't DC in a game.
