Cannot Connect to PVP.net Issues

So just about every time I'm in a ranked game, now more so than ever before, I have started to experience issues with the client where in game I will be just about half way through and all of a sudden i'll spike up to 500 ping straight and it'll say attempting to reconnect and never will. When i make an attempt to reconnect it'll just say some error about connecting to the server and i have to restart my computer and start league back up again just for it to work. Anyone else have this problem and if you have a solution please help, it's becoming increasingly frustrating losing games because it takes so long for me to get loaded back in.
