Why Can't I Say EZ after a game?

A friend who plays nothing but ARAM told me that saying EZ after a game ends, whether he wins or not, usually gets him a warning message after a few games.

I actually tried this and after 3 games of saying just EZ or GG EZ, I received a warning saying it was Verbal Abuse. Is that even abusing someone? This is a video game, a highly competitive game one at that.

My question: Why is "EZ" ban worthy?

Because you are doing it just to taunt the other team at the end of the match, which is bad sportsmanship. Did you NEVER play any kind of sport as a kid, or have parents/coaches/teachers teach you what politeness and sportsmanship are?

It's unsportsmanlike conduct. In the NFL "excessive" celebrating gets a player fined; ggez is League's closest analogue to that (since we can't really do elaborate dances at the end-zone)

Riot stated it can be taken as un-sportsmanship and you can be reported for that, i personally don't care what people say at the end of the game, i don't even pay attention to that.

Cause there's sensitive little kids that believe the enemy saying 'EZ' is the end of their life since it hurts them so much. Simple.

Yes it is. When you play sports and you lose do your opponents say Ez? How would that make you feel?

Because this game caters to as wide an audience as possible. They wont tolerate you doing anything that could offend even one player because it equals less money in their pockets. The game is rated teen, but it's actually designed to cater to 5 yr olds. It's just business.

If you want a consistently enjoyable community experience and a game company that cares about its core players, you have to stick to smaller games. That's just the reality of the industry.

Saying "EZ" or "GG EZ" is considered bad sportsmanship. It's basically saying, "you guys weren't even good enough to put up a decent fight" or something along those lines.

However, if the only thing "bad" in our chat log is "EZ" or "GG EZ," i highly doubt that you will be banned/punished for that alone. Unless maybe if you're spamming it across the entire game for multiple games, like for every kill you get, then you might be chat restricted.

saying just "EZ" yes is a little bit of a taunt. But really guys and gals who out there can seriously say they have never taunted a friend or family member ever when they won at something? and if u never have and think its wrong then u need to lightin up. part of playing a PVP game is to enjoy a little competitive talk now and again. "EZ" is a very light form of that anyway and if thats all some1 had to say and they got reported then the players who sent the reports should honestly lightin up and move on. ITS 2 LETTERS NOT A FULL ON RAGING INSULTS! seriously the fact that this is even a real thing astounds me

because it is rarely EZ and its annoying as hell. endemy zed. gets carried for a win even though he is 2 in 15 in 2. he says gg ez. i go to his moms house and tell on him.

A highly competitive one? K, remind Tiger Woods to shout out "Fk you, you suck dick!!" to his opponents in a quiet friendly gold match.

You did said "competitive", so don't say shit like "Lol & golf are 2 different things".
