When (or if) the tribunal comes back, will it actually do anything?
Riots stance towards negative players has consistently degraded over the years into simply punishing the most vocal players, who are often not the ones actually causing trouble. The old tribunal was great because it allowed players to judge other players based on context, game performance, and empathy. When that went away, players got banned left and right for talking back to their trolls and the only way they ever got clarity was to either go through 10 email tags with support, or to ask for their chat logs to be posted on boards. Then beyond that, riot ONLY gives you YOUR chat logs, as if the actual game, or the chat context is irrelevant.
Now Lyte has said he has a new tribunal that may debut (in the next 15 years with Lytes time table history) which i have to assume will probably remove everything that was good about the previous tribunal. I would even bet that they will only display chat logs from reported players, and hide the rest of the chat, the performance of the game, and all the rest of the pertinent data.
What I'm saying is, with the history of Lytes behavior philosophies, do we expect tribunal to even be remotely helpful in eliminating people that ACTUALLY RUIN GAMES?
