But i have so much money dropped into the game, and the game's core is such a great thing to experience.

Unfortunately Players horrid attitudes and manner towards one another And no visible punishment for said players, combined with the atrocity that will be "the Harrowing" No longer coinciding with halloween I think I'm done, I'm moving on finally. (I bought and carved league pumpkins just for the event).

Halloween also being our hands down fav holiday and part of it is leauge halloween skins and the halloween feeling so i was extremely let down. The harrowing already seemed like it was slowly getting pushed away as the skins got less halloweeny and in less quantity, Harrowing took longer and longer to start every year. It's a sad end to the thing i looked forward to the most about league every year.

Besides that fact i just had a ranked game with 3 afk, 1 from the start cuz he didnt like one of the guys picks, the other 2 like 5 mins in, A literal 2v5 where i lose 17 LP cuz of shile children. To add insult to injury one of the other team even said he liked games like this and wouldnt report the afks cuz he got a easy win from it.....

How do you guys feel about the manners of players in video games these days, and how LCS and players are seemingly ruined video gaming as we know it.

AFKs and the losses they cause is definitely needing more attention by Riot. I think the general issues is people would go AFK to avoid LP loss or something similar.

As for the Harrowing, I think Riot will hear the complaints and fix it :) It sadly won't be soon enough for this year :(

i will probably never quit League completely, just because i've spent so much money on it, but i agree that the lack of a cool Halloween event was a huge disappointment. i thought i was finally playing a real game that would have those kind of events (i'm always jealous when my mmo friends talk about the crazy events and prizes they get for holidays), and then... just nothing. one of the things i liked best about League, and i just started earlier this year, was that Riot seemed to have a good balance between raking in wheelbarrows full of money, and actually caring about their players. now it kind of feels like i was being a pollyanna. i don't think they even notice their non-pro players, and i'm certain they don't notice their customers. League used to make me so happy. ugh.

but, hey, Blade and Soul is full of designs by my favorite artist ever, and i bet they have events on holidays. i think it's finally time to try an MMO! if Riot doesn't want my love or money, i bet someone else will.

Don't give up hope just yet, my friend. This preseason is going to be cool and seeing as there isn't a good way to stop the trolls, just have fun with it :) I mean it is a game after all so it's just meant to be for fun in the first place. And you get to spend time with your girlfriend to boot :D all in all not a bad time. If things get too tilty then a break is my best medicine. after a few hours of doing w/e ( I personally go to the gym and play other, less competitive games) hope back on and give it another go. The mute button goes a long way ;)

1: I definitly agree with two things. 1} The LC$ is ruining everything. 2} There are too many toxic people.

The least we can all do is not encounter these people by bringing friends along! I wouldn't mind, but I suck at the game even though my friends call me a god. They say I'm too humble, of which there's no such thing.

Anyways, good luck with whatever you do! I wishest thou the best!
