I have discovered that the key to winning in low ELO is to be the best worst player

Hear me out. Low ELO games are determined by who makes more mistakes. Therefore, the winner is not whoever makes more good plays, but whoever makes less blatantly abusable mistakes. If you learn to play as if you know you will get stomped in lane every time, regardless of matchup, you may not make as many sick plays, but you won't feed or screw up. If anything, it puts you at an advantage later on by making your lane opponent cocky, because if they can work you over, they can work your team over.

Also buy wards (or at least upgrade the goddamn trinket it's the most gold efficient 250g you spend all game) and don't stick to a given build path. If you need a stupid item to fill a gap in your team (say they have a lot of CC and you have an immobile or short range ADC get the Crucible if you need to. If you are that ADC, get the defensive item earlier. There is no law stating that you need to buy a GA or BV last)

Reading Sucks: Play safe and eventually they will screw up. Also upgrade the goddamn trinket I mean really it's super good.
