New player/customer options

This is not a post to keep Dominion. That is not what I am trying to do. I consider myself a new-ish player. I have not played for a year, it might be about 6 months tops. I started out like all the new players do, on Summoner's Rift. I enjoyed learning a new game and learning some of the Champions. I played against bots until level 10 for the most part and then immediately jumped over to Aram, where I finished leveling up to 30. I enjoyed Aram much more than Summoner's Rift. I was a little sad that I had to wait until level 10 to play it considering how amazing it is. I was told by other players when I asked what Dominion was to "not play it because Riot doesn't do anything with it". So, I kept trying Summoner's Rift but I didn't have as much fun as I was having on Aram. I understand why Riot is doing away with Dominion. The player base that Riot had at the time Dominion released, dropped Dominion. However, I think Riot should have made a tutorial for Dominion so that new players like myself could choose between Dominion and Summoner's Rift. I prefer Dominion's style of play much more than Summoner's Rift and Aram. I would have loved to play Ranked Dominion and I would have chosen Dominion from the start instead of being forced onto the Rift. Picking up new players who like a different style of play other than Summoner's Rift offers, is a decent business decision. Riot could have theoretically picked up even more players by giving the option. I realize Riot doesn't need to pick up anymore players, or players who like different styles of gameplay. I would have also like to see pro play on the Dominion map. I don't think the only pro play should be Summoner's Rift. So, if Riot is ever going to offer a different option apart from Summoner's Rift gameplay, I hope they give an option to new players to start out that mode at level 1; complete with a tutorial and free champion rotation with the same hope of ranking up that Summoner's Rift offers.
