Queue times are ridiculous I dont see how riot is improving it at all

Currently in plat 5, which should have tons of pple. I queue for bot/top or bot/mid which should not be bad at all. Today there was something as ridiculous as 5 dodges in a row in champ select which are also stupidly long. Sometimes the things that happen are just so weird it seems like the client is bugged. Q pop 5 times no one accepts, random dc in champ select which makes it impossible. Im still in q right now, started at 11:20 its 12:00 now still no game. 40 minutes q time for a plat V game? Is this a joke? Even if i go into a game, just like the previous one, I wait 20 minutes for a game to go 9-30 and end at 20:00 which is always super unfun.
