You know...
I remember a time when not even half the bullshit Riot pulls would have put a company out of business -- and then, the leaders of said company would never be able to have their name on a game again, because people would know it'd be shit.
Thing like:
-
Lying repeatedly to the consumers
- "We put quality above all else, even money!" -- Admits to keeping Lee broken for money, admits to balancing around the spotlight, etc.
-
Making double standards
- "We don't like generalists" -- ignores champs like Riven, Lee, Ahri, etc.
-
Balancing as to what's lucrative, rather than what's fair (Lee is a good example, Riot even admits themselves that he's broken)
- This includes buffing champs that don't need it, or ignoring broken champs/items/etc. for as long as they can get away with or making placebo nerfs that really don't have any impact whatsoever (Remember taking 3 AD off of Vayne when she had a 60% pickrate? Yeah, big nerf).
-
Putting so few resources into development that even something simple like modernizing a champ takes several months to years when a high school team could do it in a week or two (and any other AAA company could do it in less)
-
This is not done because it takes a long time to do or because it's hard work, they do this because they want to drum up hype so that people who may have not played the "ugly old champs" will be more willing to spend money on skins.
- Where skins are concerned, development doesn't take months and months like Riot wants you to believe. It's also just about manipulating people to try and get them excited, so they don't think as much before they go and buy things.
-
What happened to the consumer base? Why do you let Riot, EA, Activision, the new Nintendo (After Iwata died), NCsoft, Nexon and all these companies get away with so much bullshit?
