After 27 games, I obtained the exalted Guardian title with Janna. My average grade was A. However, I am still B5 and considered one of the worst players in North America [and perhaps the world.]

Champion mastery basically means you spammed that champ to get a new emote.
That's because you're a support main. (this is coming from a fellow support main who climbing from B3 to silver this season just supporting)
Try to find an adc to duo with. Otherwise, try finding a more play-making support. Janna is fantastic. If your team is smart. And you're in B5. That doesn't happen often.
Try maybe Lulu. Or Nami. Or if you want to completely change what you play, there's always Annie or Leona. I personally play Sona/Nami. I played Janna more often last season, but I found that even though my KDA would be boss, I'd still lose in the end.
If you'd like advice or whatnot, hmu. I'll adc for you and we can talk it out in a norm. Maybe I can help you with some things I learned as I was trying to climb from the pits of bronze.
Hey, if you are that devoted to janna I feel like you should try to duo with me one game, because support in bronze is horrible I believe, and so is adc to so extent, when I play my favorite adc lucian, I always get this support that will get killed constantly and then I can't keep up with the enemy, I am just throwing this out here you don't HAVE to,
