If you think about it, you have to have a lot of patience to get in a good rank. I was thinking in the future, when video games become more acceptable with the community, and people stop thinking its just for nerds. It would be awesome to be able to add your ranking to your resume. It could show your employer your dedication to things you are passionate about and just what kind of person you are. I was just thinking about all the athletes who get to add their achievements to their resume. Being a patient and respectable person should should be rewarded in todays society, not just in real life, but on video games as well. Of course this would apply to jobs in or related to the video gaming industry. Idk i haven't slept yet and my mind just keeps running. It might sound like a weak idea once i wake up, but what are your thoughts on this matter?

Dear Mr. --------------

We at --------------- greatly appreciate your interest in working for us. Unfortunately, with so many applicants we are unable to offer positions to everyone who has applied. While your academic and professional history are both outstanding, your league of legends ELO raised some concerns. A quick search on na.op.gg shows that you are, unfortunately, a bronze noob. Our current employees, who are all platinum and diamond, would feel very uncomfortable if they were made to work alongside a bronzie. Please take time to improve your league of legends ELO and reapply at a later date, you fuking bronze scrub.

 -Sincerely,

     CEO of --------------- inc.

I've used video games in a job interview as an example on how I treat people who may be difficult to work with, and I've included table top RPGs as an example of how I can work in a small group.

With the resume, if I'm not sure how an employer will view gaming, I don't actually say "I play D&D". Instead, I'll use something that sounds good like "Particpation in small group simulations and problems solving, working towards short- and long-term goals".

I wonder if Riot and other game companies would like to know these things? Definitely Riot at least.
