Surrendering? Not Fair? TO ME?

I don't come on here much except to rage! I guess this question is for riot. I get surrendering. Voting is good I guess. But I still feel like I'm getting the short end of the stick more often than not.

I don't like surrendering. I play it to the end because we all know one fight can turn a game around. I'm currently ranked gold. so it happens a lot more than it should I'm sure. THROWS!!!!

So if I'm in my promos. Why would I ever want to surrender. I wouldn't. Yet my team does. and I'm penalized. I know its a team game. But at the same time I play solo queue 90% of the time. and its just a huge turn off at times.

if there was a way to get less lp deducted. I'm sure people would abuse it. but id rather people abuse it then me get abused by people surrendering for no reason.
