Why do "pros" hate certain champions?

i'm a new player and I started playing Azir. While in champion select, a few people will say things like "oh azir GG /readytolose". Although, I did do very terrible the first two times i tried him, after that I started doing a lot better. I also get some negativity when going support Anivia. "Anivia is a mid noob" or some other variation of insult that insists that Anivia can only be played mid when her secondary clearly says support. Also, the initial point I wanted to get across to was that I don't understand what "platinum" players are doing in a normal blind pick with a level 20. Is there some reason to make a new account and not play on your main? I really can't think of one especially since I imagine that you would have all your favorite champions and runes on your main.

That platinum guy could have been playing normals with a friend who he is teaching the game to. It sucks for other players but it happens.

Anivia is a really bad support and will negatively affect your chances of winning without a doubt. That being said, there is no reason why you can't play anivia support. You just have to be willing to put up with people complaining. My suggestion is to mute the people who complain.

As for azir, he is really hard to play to his full potential and he is plagued with bugs. The bugs directly affect his ability to perform (dat cancelled soldier auto) and make him worse as a result. Again there is nothing wrong with you playing him, you just need to deal with the haters. Again, mute is your friend.

I mean, there are certain champions that 99% of the playerbase cannot utilize effectively, often myself included.

Azir, Lee Sin, Nautilus, Nunu, Nocturne, Rammus, Rumble, Shaco,** Twisted Fate**, Urgot, Vladimir, Volibear, Yasuo, Yorick, Zac, Zed, and Zyra.

If I see any of these champs picked by my allies, my team's win rates drop dramatically. Especially the bolded champs.

Am I going to ragequit and troll? Nah. Am I going to tell that person they better play like a fucking god, or to dodge now? Yeah, plan on it. Will I bitch about it when they unavoidably suck at the game, and cannot even dodge basic skill shots, feeding the enemy team something awful? Yes, of course I will.

Such is league. If you think a champion will fit your play style, you better learn it well if it's outside the meta, or you're not going to survive in this "summoner eat summoner" world.

Sometimes matchmaking takes higher level and lower levels paired together to = med level player. I don't know it if uses wins or some win ratio that we can't see but the team consists of a cummulative that should be somewhat equal in number on both sides.

Reasons to make smurfs......I've seen people make smurfs because they messed up their mmr to start and wanted to start over. I've seen them make smurfs because they are banned. They also sometimes don't want to mess up their ranking but say they made gold with one or two mid champs and now want to play top lane or jungle but will have to take losses in order to learn and so they make a smurf learn then go back and apply it. Maybe they want to pick up skills they missed and so they make a smurf. and unfortunately sometimes they just do it to own lower level players.

Some people mess up and get perma banned and have to start all over, or they have a two week ban and just want to play. They usually will go back to their main if they've invested much into the account. I do know of one person that started over completely and effectively changed their main.

You're going to find a lot of stuff out about the meta, and there are some really serious people and some casual players. Learn to use your mute button. Try not to take any of the comments personally. Report the worst ones. Try to have fun. <3

your taking some unusual picks for a new player and in some cases doing weird things. Example Anvia needs a lot of items to be powerful and its hard to do that as a support. Though when you get to ranked play you are going to hear a lot more about your odd pick. Not that they are right or you are right. Though your picking things that the average ADC will not know how to work with.

Are they plat players or are they saying that "Plat"? People make smurfs to play with friends or cause their main are banned.

Well, to be honest, Anivia just isn't a great support unless you hit everything and micro manage perfectly, and have lots of hp/resistance runes because you'll get focused since she's in the top five squishiest champions. But opinions change for each person, like I think Azir is a little on the strong side, but he's definitely not broken, and if you use him well, he really is near top tier.

Like in my opinion, I think Darius and Zed are just stupid easy. Despite what people said, if you're a really bad player and you understand basic BASIC mechanics of either of those champions, you should still be able to instagib somebody at level 7 with Zed and like level four with Darius, just because there's very little counterplay.

But Rammus has a 55% winrate ,_,
