WHY DO I LOSE LP FOR AFK'S

dear riot, i just recently lost 17 LP! cause my riven went afk. so does this mean i deserve to lose lp because of afk's. This is unfair to the league of legends players we don't deserve this in anyway. y'all really need to fix this b.s. cause no one deserves to lose LP due to people that afk.

They have already explained this. It is to prevent one teammate for "taking the fall" for a lost game. One player could intentionally quit so everyone else on his team saves their lp. This is not fair because the ENTIRE team lost, not just that one player. Abusing this system with a duo queue is also possible. Have a friend play a smurf ranked with you and every time you are about to lose the smurf friend quits so you never lose lp.

It happens to everyone, so it's pretty fairly balanced. Any changes would be exploitable, so it's best just to leave it alone.

^ Yeah everyone has this happen. I went from bronze 5 to silver 3 to silver 5 and almost back to 3. Lost games due to AFK's happen. Riot explains this all the time. We wont see a non LP loss for this situation. You can win 4v5. When the enemy team gets over confident and comes at you, funny things can happen. Good luck to you.

Honestly you should be HOPEING for an afk each game, because its more likely to be on the enemy team than yours (1 in 4 your team, 1 in 5 theirs). afkers mathematically work to your benefit, so complaining about them is like getting mad at your boss for giving you a raise.
