Ranking Games

I was S5 at the end of last season, made it to a peak of S3. How would i need to do in my ranking games now to get to gold/platinum? (Im assuming D is out of the question). Im just hoping i can jump up. Ive been doing very well and nearly every game i play, it seems like i am the mvp and still lose half the time to crappy teams. thoughts?
