Newer players and purchasing champions

With a roster of 134 champions it can take a while for newer players to accumulate enough IP to get them all, which means that if someone wants to buy a 6300 IP champion (say Azir) they have to save up for quite a few games in order to make their purchase. But what If they find their champion too difficult? or awkward? or perhaps just someone who isn't all that fun to play? Could it be possible to make a Try Before You Buy system where you're sent into a custom game with just yourself and a bot (say like the tutorial on howling abyss) and allowed to just play through that game as that champion.

I DO understand that there is the free week rotations, but with such a huge selection of champions, it takes a while for one to get back on free week after getting off it. For example, For example, last year Mordekaiser was on free week twice (according to http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/Champion_Rotation_Schedule_(Season_Six) unless he was in the preseason as it has not been updated on site). Which was once near the end of January, and once near the end of September.

Perhaps instead of the Try Before You Buy, increasing the champion number in free rotations would allow champions to come by more frequently, and therefore allow people to try out new champions with new play styles more often, and decide whether they really want to buy that champion or not.

I've come to this epiphany when I came across a new player who happened to join my friend's custom game (We were trying out champions and combos) and I took the time to help him learn to play. To start off, he was unsure of what kind of champion to buy and I recommended some champions to play styles found in other games. (I ended up recommending Ashe, Vayne, Teemo and Kayle, because he like the ranged auto attack types of champions) Who knows if this newer player would have been turned because he found the champions he bought boring that he spent time to get. The 3 refunds could factor into here to refund a champion for a newer player, but that only works 3 times. Some people really hate how slow and immobile some mages are, while others love the raw damage output that they can put out regardless of their lack of mobility, and you don't have to dodge anything if the enemy is already dead.

I wasn't actually sure if this would be put under gameplay, or otherwise. So it will sit in miscellaneous.

I could be wrong about any of this. I am not a game designer or market manager or anything like that. Take this with a grain of salt. I am probably wrong about something tbh.
