Refund credits/tokens

I understand the fact that buying RP is what keeps the game rolling. But would it be really that bad to have some refund credits generating over a certain period of time lets say a year to a maximum of 3? I mean i am pretty sure most RP is used to buy skins/gifts/rune pages etc but the only thing that is farmable with IP (champions) is something gamers will tend to farm and there is nothing wrong with that. My problem though is that farming 50+ games for a 6300 ip champion you're interested in trying and ends up not fitting you is quite a slap in the face and there should be just enough refund credits given so that this can be prevented and not too much as to make ppl start abusing (in some way) the refund system.
