RIOT PUNISHMENT SYSTEM IS GETTING OUT OF HANDS!

As you all know, leaving game will result in lower priority queue. I have enjoyed this game since beta, and on good status for years. The new punishment system does no justice. With the community filled with troll and Riot doesn't know a good way to solve the problem this game will die soon enough, why? Because instead of focusing on promoting the community to do good, they focused on harsh punishment instead. My list of friends is always full 50+ at peak time, and now 2 are on at top.

Here's my story, I entered a game with a jungler who died to a few mistake. Guess what? The team harassed him, threatened to report and harassed him with the common "noob, good wash dishes" etc... I tried to prevent the situation but that didn't help and in the end? Jungler got pissed and troll by feeding. Disappointed, I left the game and was presented with a gift from riot the next day... A big fat "You Have Been Placed On Lower Priority Queue For 5 Games, Leaving The Game Result In Negative Experience For All"... Awesome right?

Here's the best part, after my 5 game on lower priority queue, I continue to advance trying to get out of silver elo with 2 win/2 losses. On my last game I ran into a jungler that decided not to gank because he's rather focus on winning lane. Well guess what? The top Irelia 2-0 me and started roaming which ended up losing the game. When all said and done I tried to give constructive comments on the jungler, but ended up getting nasty report instead. After leaving the game I get this message "You have been reported on your recent behavior...." and so on. Riot does not realize the fact that people can report you for anything as long as they are not satisfy with what you do. They troll report you if they wanted to.

Here's a a list of example:

-Death, unintentionally - Reported -Constructive criticism - Reported -They can't beat you on an argument - Reported

The list goes on, but anyway unless Riot step up their game this game will die soon, 50+ friends down to 2 is just sad.

So it isn't ok when others troll, but it is ok when you troll? Sure, no one likes dealing with trolls, but how is ruining the experience for the other 3 people who weren't trolling fair?

Yes, troll reports are going to happen because trolls troll, but at the same time, it brings up the question, how many legitimate reports have you gotten for you to even be affected by it?

"ban him for breaking the rules, but don't ban me even though I broke the rules too!"

I suppose you shouldn't have left the game. Riot doesn't like when people leave games - mostly because the community at large doesn't like when people leave games.

Here's the best part, after my 5 game on lower priority queue, I continue to advance trying to get out of silver elo with 2 win/2 losses. Those warnings don't come from single events. They come from spikes in reports against you. And while they don't validate the reports that trigger them, they do check the weight of those reports.

Even so, if you aren't actually doing things worthy of punishment, they don't matter.

There are systems in place specifically to prevent the exact kind of abuse that you're assuming is so rampant. Frankly I don't understand why people think that Rioters - and Dr. Lyte in particular - are so incredibly stupid as to not recognize that such an obvious flaw could exist. I don't understand why people think they wouldn't account for it in the design of the system.

And I really don't understand why people think that cases aren't reviewed.

-Death, unintentionally - Reported

But not punishable - so irrelevant.

-Constructive criticism - Reported

But not punishable (assuming it's genuinely constructive) - so irrelevant.

-They can't beat you on an argument - Reported

But not punishable (assuming the argument isn't toxic) - so irrelevant.

  1. Stop afking / leaving games and you won't have to wait 5 minutes.
  2. Stop complaining about getting reported the popup message is mearly telling you to calm your tits which you clearly haven't done.
  3. Get some friends if you are even capable... Then you won't have to deal with rdm's....
  4. Because Equality.
  5. I don't know I just wanted to count to 5.
