They possibly gave us a free win for every rank we dropped. I don't think it is that unfair to think that for every rank we get dropped, a free win is that unreasonable. Since there is very little chance if any at all of maintaining your rank, if you are to drop, just make it a little easier to climb back up, to entice people to make the climb again.
