Skip this paragraph if you don't care about what I have gone through and don't want to see me complain: So apparently this isnt feedback. Someone explain to me how this isn't feed back. I was already frustrated a little bit with the Riot support staff now the follow post gets removed when the support staff told me speicifically that this IS FEEDBACK AND TO POST IT ON THE BOARDS. So now I'm really pissed off because it got removed from the feedback boards WHEN IT IS FEEDBACK. I checked the freaking guidelines and no place did it tell me what speicifically to post on the feedback boards. Now I have to post in the Miscellaneous Boards for no good reason. Lets be real for a second. WHO THE HELL CARES ABOUT THE Miscellaneous Boards?! Riot is gunna tell me that my opinion on a MAJOR FEATURE OF THE GAME ISN'T FREAKING FEEDBACK!

PIck up here for the topic; just a copy and paste of my last post: If you want to read this go ahead, but this post is going to be rather long. Basically I'm just going to post the support ticket I sent in trying to figure out the reasoning behind why the penalties dodging queues are so high. And let the thread do whatever it wants if people even caare enough to comment or read this. Here goes..........

Me Message One: Why are the penalties for queue dodging so high? The amount of trolls and people that auto-lock rolls is very high. Game design is mostly about weighing good features with bad to find a middle ground? Well when you dodge a queue you have to wait 5+ mins. If someone where to dodge a queue that means other people have to wait maybe another minute on an individual basis or 9 minutes collectively. Didn't the latest system implement a thing where people part of frequently dodged queues would be punnished? Let's say that someone is trolling and the team decides to still play the game, if they lose that game that is hours of collective play time wasted. If you were to put the winrate of the team that had a troll on it at 50% that is still half of that time wasted so collectively it would be 1.5 hours+ wasted time. You could say the same thing for a normal game putting it at 50% but putting 50% on a team with a troll is being generous. What I'm trying to get at is the amount of wasted time not winning because of a troll in champion select far exceeds the time wating for another game. Why can't League have a match making system that doesn't lock you in like COD or something like that? I'm not saying that the game should have the COD match making system. I'm just saying the the time for queue dodging should be at least half and only stacking gradually by something like 30 or 40 seconds. So just explain to me why the penalties are so high for queue dodging when every other thing I can think of proves that people that dodge queue should have more lenience?

Riot Support Response Message One:

Leaving the Champion Select screen ('queue dodging') from matchmaking does result in a penalty that prevents you from entering the queue again. Please note that the timer will increase should you continue to dodge games. This decision was made to ensure that games start as quickly as possible.

Currently, dodging a solo queue ranked game will result in the loss of three League Points (ten points for dodging a ranked team game) and a six-minute penalty timer. Your second ranked queue dodge within a short period of time deducts ten League Points as well as a much longer time-out penalty.

Additionally, if you dodge a normal game and then proceed to dodge a ranked game immediately after, you will receive the penalty normally encountered after two dodges.

Dodging during a Promotion or Division series will count as a loss in your series. Your series will end if this was your final loss.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Me Message Two: I already knew the fact the heavy penalties where made to ensure games started and people didn't start continuously dodge queues. The thing is though is that other games have no penalty for dodging a queue or have no champion select at all and those games still find match quickly. A good example would be Heroes of the Storm. There is no champion select and the matches start usually within 20 seconds (I've never had a queue time longer than 15 seconds). The accessibility of being able to dodge a queue is important because of the reasons I stated in my last email. What if there was a person in bronze, he unfortunately got a troll in champion select twice in a row. He should be punished heavily because he wants a decent team? Or what if I were to go to blind pick and I got instalockers 3 games in a row (this has happened). I should have to wait a half hour to be able to queue up again because I didn't want to deal with them? I'm saying the benefit of being able to dodge a queue with small ramifications is so much higher than being able to find games quickly because again for the reason I stated here and the last email.

Riot Support Response Two: Thanks for responding. I'll be handling this ticket since my colleague is out at the moment.

Now, I understand that you're quite frustrated towards how the system gives out penalties to dodging a game. It is how the system was made and we are unable to alter it. However, your feedback about this is of great importance for us. Although we specialists are unable to handle feedback reports here in Player Support, Riot Games has established a set of forums for our players to be able to submit their feedback and advice. Rioters check these forums every day for suggestions and insight directly from our community.

NA Forums: http://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/

Please know that because our teams receive so many feedback reports daily, we are unfortunately unable to respond to every entry individually. This does not mean your suggestion has been overlooked. We are sorry that we are not able to respond to every post.

Thank you again for taking the time to contact me with your thoughts. Your passion for League of Legends and participation are a big part of what makes our community so awesome.

Once again, I apologize for the inconvenience caused by this. Please let me know if I can assist you with any other requests. Best of luck on the Fields of Justice!

Me Message Three: I wasn't really frustrated with it as much as I didn't understand the reasoning behind it. Thank you for your time even though it didn't help me understand the reasoning behind the system any better. I guess I'll just post it on the forum knowing most people probably don't care which won't result in anything. Sigh..... Have a nice day.

If you read this far congrats and thank you for you're time. Post whatever you like in the comments below. ^-^
