Azureus isn't your average everyday chosen Avatar. He is an ancient emperor from long ago. He has to stop his brother Jericho from enacting his plans. Jericho wants to fuse with Vaatu and wipe every single living human or spirit from existence. He wants to recreate everything in the universe in his image. Azureus must go to the human world and save them from Jericho, but they are already fighting him and wont believe what Azureus has to say. There are a few shadow benders and a few light benders that have banded together to stop Jericho, but the White Lotus has locked them away in high security prisons.
