It's time to fix horribly unbalanced teams- particularly with party play

Hey guys,

I've noticed this over the past several months, but I just kept hoping it would change and it hasn't. It is absolutely impossible to get a fair game when playing in a party. I almost always play with my friend Receptron, and we lose probably 75% of the games we play together due to poorly balanced teams. We play unranked (because he is not yet level 30), so maybe RIOT just doesn't care about unranked, but even if that's the case, it is so god damn frustrating. NO, its not because we suck. We've both been playing for a long time, and in most games, we are the best players on the team. We just can't carry a team that is clearly less experienced than our opponents.

I have a number of screenshots of lolnexus to show just how imbalanced the teams often are. (I know, lolnexus probably isn't an "official" report of player skill, but it ends up being pretty fucking accurate when we lose constantly to players whose ranks are far above our own). The link I posted contains these screenshots. Those are just 3 games where the other team is CLEARLY more highly ranked than us, and we lost every single one of those games. We never even had a chance. The problem is, this happens ALL THE TIME. The last screenshot shows my match history. Every single one of those games was lost, with probably 90% of them being due to poorly balanced teams, save one... the only game that I actually I won was a game that I played on my own (without Receptron).

I believe this issue results from me and Receptron being in a party together, but if that is the case, then why is Riot going out of its way to destroy us for playing together? This just discourages people from playing with friends. Tell me if you've had similar experiences! I must not be the only one who has suffered from this. Time to start balancing teams more fairly, Riot. Get on your game.

Are you complaining about matchmaking in normals? You really can't tbh. How do you expect riot to balance them?

Lots of people don't have correct mmr in normals because they dont play enough of them or they don't take them as seriously or they use them to practice new champions and are thus in a lower mmr etc. Stack this on the fact that it lets you que up with your friends regardless of rank and it needs to find the opposing team from somewhere.

The closest thing to balanced is a 5 man team of the same rank (mmr) vs another 5 man of the same rank, after that the system tries to make compromises based on how many factors it has to eliminate.
