Why is an optional, unfinished beta client keeping us from personal shops? (among other things)

As the title asks, why are we missing out on this event staple because of a client that's not finished, especially when the old one still exists? How does it make sense to disable them just because the unfinished beta client can't do them? I've heard the excuse that they want as many people using the new client as possible to get maximum feedback, but I don't buy it.

I don't see how logging into the old client for a few minutes to check your shop could possibly cause such detriment to their stream of user feedback that they'd need to drop it all together. Especially considering the fact that there's a button on the new launcher that takes you to the old client and then when you're done and start up League again next it goes right back to the new client. Those of us who still use the item set feature are told to just boot up the old client, why not for shops?

If you really want people to stick to the new client, why not throw together a quick'n'dirty version of the shop for the new client until a visually complete version is ready? You could use old assets and it'd be fine until you make new ones. Get out something that works until you can polish it, that's what you're doing with the practice tool isn't it?

TL;DR: I don't think they should be pushing an unfinished beta client on us until it's feature complete. It's not okay to tell people who want one old feature to just boot up the old client but then tell people who want another old feature that they're out of luck, especially one as popular as the personal event shops.

They're done updating and patching the old client unless it breaks. This is why personal shops are not being reintroduced to thr old client.
