I thought you said you decided to get a desktop. If you're back in the discussion for getting a laptop I can repeat what I said to you last time minus the videos. There's not that many options in that price range. That is the bare minimum for most recent release gaming laptops. I only found two:
Dell 7567 $799
Acer Aspire $799
You may find cheaper if you go with last year's models but they will have obsolete technology. And since there was a MAJOR upgrade in video cards in the last year alone I do not recommend you do that. Case and point, you will not get as much bang for your buck in this price range. If you can find a way to double your budget you will get more options available to you and get something that will last longer. That $800 extra you spend now will equate to an extra 2-3 years worth of usability and I can guarantee it will last you more than your 4 year term studying for your undergrad. You buy one of those $800 versions and you may find it lagging behind come your senior year in college. But that's just my opinion on the matter. If you can't stretch your budget then these are arguably the best two options available to you. Best of luck to you on picking one you like.
