Question about doom bots and the icon reward

I was reading the article about doom bots and getting the little teemo icon for beating doom bots of doom. The way it was written has confused me a bit and I want a little clarification on it. It states, "but any players who defeat a Doom Bots level will earn the Little Devil Teemo Icon for all eternity.". Does that mean you have to beat doom bots on The Gauntlet on one of the levels chosen? Or does beating The Teemoing also give it to you? It states "A Doom Bots level" so I wasn't sure.
