Zyra support

Hey everyone! I decided to go ahead and make a guide to the champion that easily got me to diamond this season, Zyra!

Easily my favorite support in the current meta she is extremely viable vs any other support. The main enemies are Alistar and Blitzcrank. Alistar is just tanky, unless you can shut him down early and avoid getting killed by the wombo level 2 you should be able to outscale him in lane with poke. Blitzcrank for obvious reasons is lethal against any squishy support, just avoid being grabbed and you will make it out of lane fine. A good trick is to plant seeds to where you can make his grab land on a plant rather than you or your adc.

Runes and Masteries are attached.
I actually run my mid runes, the goal in lane is to be able to chunk the enemy laners to half with a double seed Q and thunderlords. Masteries are pretty offensive running 12-18-0 I enjoy thunderlords because Zyra's plants are still somewhat bugged. if you land your Q relatively close to the enemy laner the plants will autolock on almost guaranteeing a thunderlords proc.

Skill path. This may be where some people disagree with me.
Level 1 through three go Q W E

After i max Q first- Her Q is particularly strong with the buff to the plant damage.

Then i max her W- So you may be wondering why not her grasping roots? Laning as a support zyra a large amount of your poke and lane pressure comes from seeds being in the lane. With her updated passive getting nerfed to throwing out seeds less often the ability to through at more seeds at a higher rate with her W is even more important.
Also, my item build runs a rush to Ryleighs making seeds even more important.

Item build

I believe theres a 2 item core build for me. item 3116 item 2301 item 3158

These three items are extremely important with ryleighs being the crux of the build. While zyra does have decent cc with her E and Ult Ryleighs gives you the ability to catch people out or start an engage at a huge distance away from the actual enemy with a Q ranged plant landing 1 auto proccing Ryleighs. Ryleighs also gives you insane peel for your team when your plants are ulted giving them bonus attack speed.

Laning Phase:

Level one you dont have the most pressure in the world. Use your Q to help shove the lane and get you to the level two spike before your enemy lane.
Level two is when you can start to be extremely annoying. Take W and focus on getting a double seed Q proc on the enemy adc. This will usually chunk 200+ hp if you get off the thunderlords proc.
The rest of laning phase is about keeping lane dominance while watching for ganks. Your ult is the best form of disengage. If you see one or multiple enemies charging into your lane dropping your ult behind you is almost a guaranteed escape as long as you are not getting caught from behind.

Late Game:

Itemwise other than your three core items the rest is up to you. You may just want to go full ap or build item 3190 item 3050 . Locket is always a sound support item and depending on the adc Zekes pairs well with Zyra.
Focus on peeling for your teem while attempting to engage with grasping roots or a Deadly spines proc on a seed to get a ryleighs proc.
Zyra has exceptional burst with ryleighs so dont be afraid to attempt to blow up a squishy. Use seeds to block certain paths when tryign to take dragon and baron and punish them for attempting to engage. Use your ult to buy your team a few more seconds and to keep teh enemy jgler from getting in smite range.

This is my first guide so any critique will be helpful. Hope it helps!

Just get a sightstone and some other normal support items, then go full damage with a rabadon's and liandry's + rylai's, building rabadon's last. You'll have good peel cause rylai's while still doing a bunch of damage, probably get the most damage done vs champions in the end screen.

I think you can put champion guides in Concepts and Creations btw
