AFK/LP loss mitigation
Just played a game with a Corki who either AFKed or DCed at level 5, game went on to about 17 minutes but the average level by that point was 9 or 10. It gave me the idea, why not add in LP loss mitigation if your team loses and there is a significant difference in level between the average and one or two (presumably) AFK players? I'd say 3 is a reasonable number.
This may also help deal with trolls/players who don't belong in the league they are playing. They could sustain a normal (or higher, if mercy isn't your thing) LP loss while players on the losing team take a reduced LP hit (say, 70% reduced).
Also, I'd personally like to see the winning team take a 70% reduction on LP gained... many times I've played 4v5s wherein the 4 were much higher skilled players but lost due to a numbers disadvantage...and yet the winning team still talks a bunch of smack in-game and in post-game.
