Request for more official content from Riot...

...by which I mean specifically things like articles/podcasts from people who actually design/develop the game. I came over to League from playing Magic: The Gathering, which is an older game that I think is more well-developed along this front. There is a website with multiple articles each day, a weekly podcast from the head designer of the game, and another biweekly (I think?) podcast from the PR team. These outlets help the game designers inform the community about their work, explain their decisions, tell fun stories, and from time to time to acknowledge their mistakes.

I'm not suggesting that Riot immediately needs to create the same constant cycles of content that Magic has, but I think that a little more regular/official content from the game designers/developers would really help Riot's relationship with the community, as well as give me something to read over my lunch hour. (I should note, things like Patch Rundowns and the recently-proposed Live Gameplay Q&A are good steps along these lines, but I think there's room for even more.) I know I've often been upset about some game design or champion balance decision only to later find a post by a Rioter on boards or reddit (usually through surrenderat20.net) that reassured me that Riot had good reasons for what they did, was working on it, or was continuing to monitor the situation. Anyway, I just wanted to write something quickly to encourage Riot to continue along these lines and make their design/development process as transparent as possible.

One quick side note: There's already quite a bit of very high-quality content available from other sources for tracking competitive play and for improving at playing LoL. I'm not suggesting we need more from Riot along those lines. I'm mostly talking about making the design/development process (as evident through game features, balance decisions, etc.) more transparent.
