How to take this game serious?

Can someone please team me how I am supposed to Take this game serious?

Level 1--15 Smurfs who are either banned/suspended on their mains who claim to be gold/plat/diamond running around trolls games because they are pissed off at the world. I say nothing..

Level 15- 30 More trolls, toxic team mates and rage quitters. I say nothing

Play 10 placement matches on my main, get instant trolls and afkers on team, get placed in silver 5. I say nothing

Play a few rank games, get a duo Q bot lane who comes mid and feeds my lane over and over laughing about it.. I finally snap and say something I get a warning.

Play a few more rank games, get a kench on my team who follows me around on my jungle trolling me. I call him a troll, ask enemy team to report. End game I get reported and I get chat Restricted.

I take a break from League of legends for a week and My first game I come back My team starts fighting in Champion select, through the game I try my hardest to keep my mouth shut until my team starts saying shit about me saying i'm the reason they lost and fed bot lane because Ididn't roam enough as mid...

Snapped again went off and got a two week suspension.

I'm just curious.. but how the hell am I suppose to take a game serious when I have played 800 games on my new account, 500-600 of which had to have trolls, afkers and ragers and yet it only takes a couple games 3-5 to get suspended?

Doing the math it doesn't even make sense.

Tons of people put up with this crap everyday and hold back from going off.. so what is the secret? Simply muting everyone doesn't work because I'm still tempted to go off on the idiot who runs mid and feeds 5 kills off the bat then afks..

Seriously.. never putting a dime in this game again and if I get banned after my suspension i'm uninstalling. Never in all the games I have played have I played game where simply saying something that isn't toxic is considered toxic to someone else. It's not like there is a guideline to follow for toxicity in League because apparently saying anything that someone gets offended by rather you are kidding, being sarcastic or the best one is when both teams have two of the same champs and I type in chat about the other Diana my Diana assumes i'm talking about her and she reports me.

I'm not looking for an answer, i'm just ranting the same rant that Thousands of people a day deal with that Riot doesn't seem to care about.

You are NOT supposed to take it serious. Its a game.

Plus I have been in silver 5 0Lp It takes no skills to carry a game you could play one champion and carry the whole game by yourself. Just find the champion to carry with.

By 'take it serious' I assume you mean Ranked, so...

It's common in team games for people to blame everyone but themselves for mistakes. You eventually have to learn to report and move on. Riot can't ban every jerk that plays their game (The playerbase is too large) so if you want to go hard into Ranked a thicker skin and a good deal of patience are required. If someone starts flaming you for something that's not your fault, disregard and mute. It's really all you can do until the systems are in place to deal with the sheer volume of these people in the game.

I don't take this game seriously like legit. If u have bad team mates mute.

I have a 80% win rate just by picking fill. All I wanna do is play top but I get with support that's fine since both roles are fun.

I get trolls but it's fine if I'm good I can carry them being positive and optimistic is how you win a team game.

Carrying games, and playing well certainly helps reduce the toxicity on the team, but its not always enough to curb the immature ragers. I personally like the

"I can appreciate what you're saying but its unproductive. If you continue I will just mute/report you"

"Please save your time and don't type - you've been muted summonerX"

On a more serious note I understand the frustration and the above was my solution.

About a year ago I had a very bad day.. I was angry before I loaded league ( I know this was my first mistake cause league always makes you feel better). I had a Shen in my game, he went 0-15 or something equally absurd in the first 10-15 minutes of the game and the team as a whole(myself included) was asking him to please stop.. etc, and of course much less pleasant comments were flying around. The Shen started raging and became incredibly toxic to the team. Everyone on the team said some off color things, again myself included. The Shen was the initial cause of the toxicity even while massively feeding his lane he was berating the enemy team in all chat with how lucky, bad, dirty, cheap etc his opposing laner was.

Well I play a metric tonne of games. And I got reported for this one in particular. The result was a 2 week suspension. The chat logs I was provided in my suspension did indeed show enough toxicity to warrant my suspension. What was very unsettling to me was the fact that it was an EXTREMELY small % of the actual number of games played.

PS - I'd never received any chat restrictions, warnings, etc prior to this point. (Likely before the tiered system)

So lets say I have 25 games(exaggeratted for math, they provided 3 examples which seems to be the norm) out of 2500 ish that were deemed toxic. So lets call that approximately .01% of the total games played. You know.. people have bad days, its not ok to take it out on your teammates, but sometimes we need to use logic. Since that point in time I've played another 1500 ish games without issue or additional punishment. I'm not really a toxic guy but sometimes emotions can get the best of anyone. Now lets take for example a guy with 100 games played and is reported for lets say.. 5 games. This player is now toxic in 5% of their games.

Long story short I think it should be taken into consideration when dealing out these punishments the amount of actual positive gameplay or at the very least non-toxic game play a person engages in.

Perhaps some sort of benchmark could be added to spare players who in 99.9% of cases are a positive experience to their fellow summoners. Like for example if a player has been reported in, or their is evidence of toxicity in less than 1% of their total games played in a given que they could be treated with a little more consideration than the guy who is ruining 10% of his games played.

By devoting a massive amount of time to league of legends and ranked ques in particular I (and anyone else) exposes themselves to a much larger pool of summoners, situations, feeders, rager's, afk's, trolls etc etc etc. I don't think a player should be permantly punished because they exposed themselves to more potential stressors. Sometimes even just reacting to the toxic player is enough to "get you reported by him and his friends" this problem will likely be compounded this season by dynamic ranked que.

I'll end by saying, I have not been punished since my 2 week suspension, and it certainly did show me that I needed to be careful with what I say all the time. So yes the .01% of toxicity has been reformed. I still play the same amount of games and use my mute button liberally. Often removing a mute in 5-10 mins an the offender has cooled off.

Just be cool and mute assholes.
