Can we have a serious talk about the report system?

Hello, I'm a relatively new summoner who's name is a literal invitation to make friends and play league together. I'm a rather positive person but I can say some negative things, nothing hateful, but when my team has lost all of its towers in the span of ten minutes I have said "We should probably surrender, we've systematically lost all of our turrets in the first ten minutes."

Now is that negative? I guess you could consider pragmatic as negative, but is it excessively negative? no.. No not for all the GG WP GJ and honor I give out I don't think I deserve to be labeled a negative player. So bringing us back to the the topic, can we have a real discussion about the report system given that the new instant feedback system is being implemented.

I just had a normal unranked, draft mode, I was left mid and chose malzahar because of his laning potential (Dat e though) I went up against a morgana and had a pretty competent jungle and bot lane as well as top. The game ended in a surrender with one of my lane's towers taken, none of top, and one of bot. We scored one dragon and our adc managed 11 kills, I managed 1. The thing that got me, was that the entire game I stayed in my lane and pushed my tower because I knew if I roamed as Malzahar I was going to die to the heavier hitters. My bot lane however decided they would be the shout casters of the match and endlessly pinged bot if my lane opponent left their lane (No they did not ward) and were constantly under attack. Knowing what little I could do I farmed my lane, effectively, using the absence to take my turret. After the fact I tele'd down and protected bot's tower and even assisted in getting them a few kills. I thought it was an over all pretty good game.

HOWEVER after the game, our jungle sion started ranting at me about how I didn't follow to fight Morgana in one engage I just ulted her to stop her from taking my tower and went back to clearing waves, then sivir chimed in with how "If you just stick at it you'll get good I promise" I found this very insulting because I did very well, I was able to build a ROA and a Mormel's, I took a tower, I didn't die once, and I got a kills and six assists. Solid B grade for the mastery. But sivir continued on to patronize me and when I offered a rebuttal simply saying "I did fine what are you talking about?" I was treated to a superior smug explanation about how my farming was bad for the game, how I didn't come help bot I just farmed (two teleports to protect their turret and two assists each time) I explained to sivir that I was a higher level than her with one less cs meaning I played better. The condescending turned into rage as Sivir started yelling at me about duo lane bot but I just ended the conversation saying "You're not as good as you think you are, please have a good next game" and left..

10 seconds later I was slapped with a verbal harassment warning. Now I ask you, where did I harass anyone, why was I issued a warning when only she reported me? What is this system and why is it so broken?
