Any tips for remembering import stuff in-game?

Hi, I'm quite a new player (just hit level 30 yesterday) and was wondering if anyone could give me tips on not forgetting to do important things in-game. To better explain, there are many instances where I forget to use the actives on items like Ghostblade and Iron Solari, leading to the deaths of me or my teammates in fights, or I forget to look for minion waves on the map mid and late game so I can get the cs, causing my farm to be very low. I'm assuming that you become more aware of these things as you play more but I wanted to know if there's anything I can do right now to improve. Would really love feed back, thanks.

You got it. Practice makes perfect. What can you do right now? Leave the forum and start a game.

Over time you will get used to it. Maybe leave a sticky note or something on the side of your screen to remind you :P took me a full year after i hit 30 to actually play correctly and remember that stuff.

Manually moving items to a key can help with actives. For example, I always have Sightstones on the 3 key, and items that effect movement speed (BOTRK, Youmuu's, Randuin's, Talisman etc) always go on my 4 key.

As for farming that's a tough one. Don't be too embarrassed though: Since I'm a support main of three years that always fills in roles I've got so little experience in CSing that I always lane terribly whenever the planets align and I get top or mid :P

Oh, and here's a surprisingly good tip as a jungler. Type exactly what you're planning to do in chat before you do it. "I'll clear red buff then gank", or "I'll farm until 6". Actually typing it out helps you remember what you're doing and gives a bit of order to what you're doing. At least that's how I see it.
