I messaged riot the other day, the response I got was that to get a PBE I needed to sign up and wait and I would be selected randomly or maybe not at all. They said the same to my friends. I main mages especially high engage tanky ones. That is what Aurelion Sol is. That is what they would want from testers... Yet there are streamers and youtubers that get a PBE instantly and they could main teemo. Why do they get the PBE instantly? because I believe riot cares more for streamers and youtubers than their everyday players. I think I will stop playing League soon just because of they favor those more fortunate that are able to stream and/or make videos to advertise their game for them.

I am an unranked player who doesn't stream or upload videos. I'm ik the PBE, and got access to the Alpha client testing. One of friends also has PBE access, and she isn't a content creator either.

So what was that about only accepting streamers?

me and two friends have pbe accounts. i occasionally put up videos but not often. it's just timing and luck. I got on around the time of dj sona and bard, probably because i mained sona and support? but my two friends got in right before hextech crafting when riot said they were planning to let in a lot of people to pbe.

It really is random, I will say, I got in by submitting a new request every month for like half a year, seemed to do the trick, doesn't help you with Aurelion, but hey, PBE
