(May be to soon to ask.) What exactly happened and the state of Ironside Malphite?

With the pbe cycle wrapping up for 5.18 what happened to this mysterious skin it was mentioned in the files in the 9/1 pbe update then in the 9/2 pbe update they just removed all strings referring to this mysterious skin.I do have a few guesses on what exactly happened:

1. The skin just wasn't finished this is a great possibility and will come with the 5.19 cycle. 2.The skin has a game breaking bug that there trying to fix like the shock blade Zed chromas. 3.The skin was just too similar to his other skins so they dropped it. (Such a sad day in that case) 4.The most out there theory of there turning the skin into a visual update for him like queen Sejuanni was originally a skin turned visual update. (I hope this is true especially in the visual update they work on his size since he was shrunk down to fit the league of legends when Sion is now bigger than him.) So what do you guys think? Am I asking to early?
